I am not sure if it was cause i only paid them for 2 hours and i wasnt an all day event but this couple seemed a little distracted. They didnt give great direction to what we we should do theyy stuck us in front of a tree and me and my husband just kept staring at eachother. I was a little upset until I saw the pics. there were so many great and fantastic pics that they shot that I didnt even know they were taking. The soft colors they use for editing are beautiful! For only 2 hours they still gave over 500 images with disk and rights. (canairse)

Abigial included with our great price our engagement photos with all the rights. She was on time, professional, and had some great ideas for photos. She took over 1,700 photos of the day, including a lot of family photos for our guests. She was great for us and our whole wedding. (samanthajeremy)

Ok, we haven't seen our pics yet, so I can't say for sure, but I will be truly shocked if our pictures don't turn out amazing. Her portfolio really wowed me. She was adorable and fun to work with. She was genuinely excited to shoot our wedding, and she couldn't stop talking about how adorable we were and how awesome our venue was. She always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. I will post pics when I get them! (newmrsdayton)
Amy Sanders, Lake Geneva, WI: A
I haven't seen the pictures yet, otherwise I would rate her an A+. What a wonderful woman. She's a close family friend who does photography on the side. In addition to getting a FABULOUS price, she has such creative ideas for photography and is good at getting large groups corralled and establishing rapport with everyone. She charmed the pants off my husband's grandfather, which is sometimes a feat! She stayed quite late at the reception taking photos, and everytime I asked her to take a random shot, she was totally fine getting up from what she was doing to accomodate. Love Amy! (gadragonetti)

Aaron did a great job. He stuck with me from 9 am til after all the first dances were done and then some. He took great shots of something that I didnt see would be a good photographic moment. looking at his website u might not see much of my ceremony because other photgraphers were taking pics. i highly reccomemnd him. he had great ideas and great personality. He is still developing his website so bare with him. but it is cool to me that my wedding is the feature on his site. since he is just starting off I am sure his rates would be lower. (canairse)

Clint Wolf= A+
When looking for a photographer, we were browsing his page and sample pictures when we came across the wedding of a friend's friend of ours. So we asked them how Clint was for them, and they were positive about their experience. We decided to meet with him, and he was very professional, yet incredibly personable. He seemed genuinely interested in capturing the most happy moments of our day. We don't have the pictures back yet, so I can't comment on them, but working with him up to and the day of was great. He came with so many fun and unique ideas, and he was always snapping pictures of whatever he thought would be special. He was never in the way, but was always right there in the action. He noticed when groups of people were taking pics and would make the person taking the pic hop in and be a part of his picture. He is from the Chicago area, and Milwaukee is the farthest north he goes without charging alittle for travel (and with these gas prices I don't blame him!). I'll post some professional ones when we get them back. Oh, and he sends us a flash drive in the mail and we own, EVERYTHING. For his services, he charges more that fairly. Hundreds less that most local photography groups we looked at.http://weddingsbywolf.com/ (emelizabeth85)
Edward Fox Photography--We saw Edward Fox at one of the bridal shows and liked that they had a lot of winter specials. At first I was worried because you hear all of the reviews talking about how not to go with a large photography house and how you do not receive the personalized attention. On the day of our wedding we had 2 photographers (one was no charge due to the off season). Both very constantly taking photographs throughout the day and the photos that we have seen already look great. Todd Ganek was our main photographer and a lot of the photos we took were photojournalistic,plays on lighting, etc. Todd showed us some of the photos after he took them and posted a preview on his own site less than 24 hours after the wedding. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos. Grade: A (cgrzona)

Kathy from Forever Photography (Eau Claire) photographed our wedding. She was really professional thorughout the whole process. Front Room Photography Bayview, WI A+
Carl was great, easy to work with and took some great and really creative shots. I can't wait to see the CD! Front Room was great to work with! They are expensive but well worth every penny. We could not afford their packages, so they worked with us to create one that we could afford and it really has been a pleasure working with them! They are very professional and we always felt that we were in good hands and never worried about what (to us) was the most important vendor that we could hire, the one that would provide us with the only lasting physical memories from our wedding day!
The individual bride/bridesmaid and groom/groomsmen pics and the family pics in the church were not as high quality as some of the more casual ones, so if you are looking for only real formal pics, this may not be the photographer for you. (alessner)
Front Room Photography (Milwaukee) (A++++) We are from Dallas and these photographers came highly recommended from a well known Dallas photographer. There are not words to describe how much I liked Eron and Neil as people and their talent speaks for itself in our photographs. We have memories that I don't even remember experiencing the night of but they were there to ensure we had the moments from the smallest details to the biggest moments. We loved their style, their ideas and their vision for documenting our big day. We are still in the process of getting the album (due to NO fault of Eron and Neil but my own work schedule) but they worked hard to get us proof of the album ASAP after the big day and have been working with us to make all the changes we have asked as quickly as possible. I do not have negative thing to say about these guys. We also had a photobooth which was scheduled with Front Room and it was the biggest hit. Our guests are still talking about it and show us the photo strips from the night. (LegallyRedSooner)

Kim…I.love.Kim.
She had shot my brothers wedding and I adored his photos, and I have stalked her on Facebook since then. Kim is an award winning photographer who has more of the photo journalistic style. When I got engaged I pretty much knew she had to shoot my wedding too. I love her quirky personality – if anyone contacts her and reads her FAQs you will know exactly what I am talking about.
I did scout out other photographers, get other quotes, and even asked my husband’s cousin who also is a great photographer (doesn’t shoot family functions) who he would hire, and he scouted websites, and blogs not knowing who I was favoring and he agreed KB Image. DEAL! It also didn’t hurt that Kim was actually a tad less than a few other photographers we priced in Green Bay as well.
My lack of confidence and my husband’s hatred for posing for pictures was brought up to Kim. We gave her samples of our engagement photos we had shot with a photographer in Columbus that left us feeling “meh.” Not terrible not fantastic so she had an idea of what we liked and didn’t. We met the month prior to the wedding to go over details we wanted captured and the list of formals so we could zip through them.
The teaser we got left us dying for more pictures. I know it’s not all Kim (cue hair and makeup) but the pictures she captured I look absolutely stunning which is a huge confidence boost and my husband is happy with how he looks as well. She made the pictures fun and held up to her “ninja” persona – there are pictures I have no clue she captured but am sure glad she did!

Way too many stories to tell, but I would never book her! She basically stood us up two times for our engagement shoots, then when we went to ask her what was going on, she didn't want to travel to Milwaukee anymore to shoot weddings. She said that she would return our deposit to us since she was the one falling short on our contract, and it took several months and countless emails and phone calls to get our deposit back. This all happened about 3-4 months before our wedding, putting us into quite a tailspin! (Jcrew_Shopaholic)

Photos by Yesenia Evansville: A+
Yesenia is actually a childhood neighbor of mine. I grew up two houses down from her and am best friend's with her cousin who lived across the street from me. My sister has used her for family pictures before and they turned out great. I have seen her work on her blog and we loved the pictures. Compared to other photographer's we had looked up,she was very reasonable. She charges less than $1000 whereas others were typically $1500. For our engagement pictures, she had us meet her in Janesville as we let her chose where to do them. At first we weren't sure but once we got there and started taking pictures, we loved it. We went down by the river where there were some old buildings and a bus stop so we got some pictures taken all over. She also had great ideas for pictures when it came to the wedding too. She has a blog where you get to see a sneak peek of your pictures while she is still working on them. We have already gotten to see a sneak peek of ours and can't wait to see more! One thing we love too is that once she is done with the pictures, they are yours. She gives you the cd's and rights to the pictures so that you can print off as many as you like without having to go through her. Works out real nice with our out of town relatives as well as trying to figure out who wants what. (hinkelcl28)
R.Buckley Photography Appleton, WI
We wanted a photographer who did photojournalistic style and capture those raw emotions, details, and excitement of the day. Even though her email communication is a little on the slow side, she really enjoys what she does. She captures photos at different angles and you wouldn't even notice that she is there taking pictures during the wedding ceremony. She also has really good business ethic and is willing to work with each indivdual couple with their budget. Highly recommend her so go and check out her new website!! (www.rbuckleyphotography.com) (mrsweber11)
Sarah Immel; New Berlin, WI
My favorite vendor of all. Sarah did our engagement pics back in April, and we were super excited to work with her again for the wedding. We got our pro pics back last week, and I'm in love with them. She captured all of the details of our wedding that I worked really hard on, but also got a huge number of fantastic candid shots. We have just over 1,000 pictures from our wedding, and they are all fantastic. She got all of the posed photos we wanted, but they were done quickly so we didn't feel like we were sitting up at the alter smiling forever. She even ventured out in the rain and snow with us to get some fantastic outdoor shots. I honestly could not have asked for a better photographer, and I'm so glad we found Sarah. (SwwetCharade)
Steve Bowman, A++++++++++
I cannot say enough about Steve. Even with everything else going as well as it did, it would not have been worth it if at the end of the day I didn't have the pictures from Steve. He was so creative, and so flexible, and worked SO QUICKLY. I just could not be happier with our final product. I fully plan on using him for whatever photos I might ever need done in the future. (teconley)
White Dog Photography Paul and Jim are great. They don't charge by the hour, but instead have a flat fee for the entire event, including an engagement session and portrait. We spent less than we would have on other photographers, but ended up with all our engagement pictures, plus 800+ photos from our big day and they are all fantastic. Jim was very knowledgable about the best places to get pictures at Villa Terrace and he made the whole thing very easy on us. It wasn't arduous to stand for all those pictures, it was fun! The pictures were online within a week and I get giddy all over again just looking at them. A fantastic job and a great deal! (jennya.esq)

We found Brett as he also films weddings in Door County and fell in love with his work. He was so professional and great to work with. He came into town early just to scope out our venue, salon where we were getting ready, and my hometown all on his own time. He really got to know us as a couple and listened to our vision and key elements throughout the day to make sure they would be captured. Can't say enough good things about him! I know from viewing his other work that our film will be fantastic! (texy72)

Steve Bowman, A++++++++++
I cannot say enough about Steve.
Cinematographer: It Was Fate Films, Minneapolis, MN (A++)
We found Brett as he also films weddings in Door County and fell in love with his work. (texy72)
